EPISODE 41: MONSTER MANUAL

THIS WEEK, MONSTARK AND ME DISCUSS THE TRAGIC PASSING OF MF DOOM, THE NEW BREED OF CELEBRITIES AND "CONTENT CREATORS," WHY INSPIRATION COMES IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT, GROWING UP IN THE ERA BEFORE MOBILE PHONES, CREATING SPACE FOR CREATIVITY, FRANCIS E DEC, AND DUNGEONS AND DRAGONS! THIS EPISODE WAS LIVE-STREAMED ON TWITCH.TV/ANTIFASCISTSOCIALCLUB - PLEASE FOLLOW IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO CATCH US LIVE IN THE FUTURE! (THIS PODCAST DESCRIPTION WAS WRITTEN IN "ALL CAPS" IN LOVING TRIBUTE TO MF DOOM).

The world is yet again on fire. Monstark and Me discuss political identity, being judgemental bastards, cognitive dissonance, censorship, fear of complacency, taking time to smell the roses and listen to the crickets, being comfortable in your own home, and how to make the most of quarantine. It's a veritable buffet bonanza of blathering.

Episode 34: Hold Everything!

This week, we start off the show by mourning the loss of Monstark's beard. We also discuss Golden Girls cosplay and Bryan's recent Queer Eye obsession. Also, we discover we've both been run over by verhicles.

This week we start off by apologizing for the last episode, and talking about identity.

This week, two old men complain about how much better things used to be back in the good ol' days. Also, can you support art if you don't like the artist?

We're back, and we're officially a year old! This week we bring you the first annual Monstark & Me Halloween Spooktacular, in which we scare ourselves more than a little bit...

Mark's had a tough couple of weeks, and he's boiling mad (almost literally). Bryan debuts his super evil new voice which hurts after a few minutes. We talk about disappearing cat poop, tulpas, aliens, and movies.

This week's episode features 11-string bassist and composer Jean Baudin! We discuss his musical evolution, his strange and wonderful gear, video game inspiration and secrets of Nuclear Rabbit. Sprinkled in for flavor are songs from his album "2600" and the Nuclear Rabbit album "Intestinal Fortitude".

This episode is an Ouroboros. Somehow, everything winds up full circle. Fleas have Bryan questioning his very sanity, Monstark wants people to use critical thinking on Social Media, and we respond to a message from a listener. Buckle up, it's a long, bumpy ride.

This week's been a little rough. Bryan's dealing with a massive flea infestation and sleeping on a mattress on the floor. Yet WE PREVAIL! This week we talk about why in the HELL anybody would actually want to live in San Francisco.
